Reference

Slack DM is selected when the organization is connected and the recipient has a Slack identity. Otherwise email is selected when an address exists. Without either route, delivery is recorded as failed. Sign-in links and invitations use email. Processed approval cards and withdrawals update existing Slack cards. A withdrawal email template exists, but the current withdrawal flow does not send it.
